The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport have been running an occasional series of roadshow events to discuss the challenges facing heritage in the modern world. While Covid has slowed down their timetable, they are still pressing ahead and we are happy to report that they have invited the Club to participate in an upcoming roadshow about climate change and heritage.
We know that this is a critical issue to many of our members, so we are extremely pleased to be invited to join in the discussion and to bring feedback from all our supporters to officials.
While the date and time are yet to be determined, in large part depending on whether the event can be held in person or will be a digital forum, this is a great opportunity for the Club to get involved with the officials who formulate heritage policy and we look forward to a productive discussion.
